This tutorial will take you through steps that allow BOS online clients to take advantage of its online banking features on bankofscotland.co.uk

Create an Bank of Scotland account

Go to bankofscotland.co.uk and click the ‘Register for online banking’ link on the top right-hand side of the homepage.

  • For Business Internet Banking, please follow the link to the website which contains a list of features and application instructions.
  • For Personal Internet Banking, please click ‘Register‘ and provide your contact information, whether in the UK or abroad, your account number, and banking login password. Your information will be kept safe, but may be used in surveys or correspondence.

BOS online login

To sign in, just enter your personal info on this login page.

In order to sign in to your account:

  1. Go to bankofscotland.co.uk
  2. Click the ‘Log in’ button on the top right of the home-page and provide your login information.
  3. Click ‘Continue’ below to see your account page.
  4. You may sign out of the account by clicking the ‘Log out’ button on the top right-hand side of the page.

Reset your BOS password

Your contact information and login details can be modified by clicking the ‘Change details’ link on the top right-hand side of the account page, above the account-holder’s name. Please click the ‘Change password’ link in the ‘Your login details’ section. Once you have entered your old and new password, click ‘Submit’ below.

Check your balance online

Your balance will be visible when you log in to your account page. You may view a list of recent transactions by clicking the ‘View mini statement’ link below the account name or image. By clicking the ‘View full statement’ link below or by clicking the account name or image, you may view additional transactions. Clicking the sort button will allow you to change the order of the transactions. You have a search function under the list which allows you to look for specific transactions. You may also print or export the list of transactions by using the two buttons below the list.

Contact customer assistance

The top right-hand side of your account page provides options if you need help. A list of answers is available in the ‘Help & support’ section, while the ‘Contact us’ section reveals telephone numbers you may use to reach BOS.
