Playing the National Lottery online
To connect into your account, ensure that you are into UK or Isle of Man
If you haven’t already signed up to www.nationallottery.co.uk, you will need to do so in order to buy and manage your tickets.
The menu at the top right hand corner of the page enables you to open an account, or sign into an existing account. If you have forgotten your password, select the ‘Forgotten username or password?’ option, where you will be given the option to reset one or both of these.
Once you have signed in, you will see the words ‘My Account’ appear in the top right corner, under which you can quickly check your funds and balance. Once you are signed in, you can play any of the usual games such as Lotto, Euromillions and Thunderball through the ‘Play games’ menu.
If you prefer, scratchcards, head to the ‘Instant Wins’ section. The Instant Win scratchcards can be bought for as little as 25p, with the higher stake scratchcards giving you the opportunity to win up to £1m.

If you want it, you can receive results by email.
If you have entered the National Lottery through www.nationallottery.co.uk, you should be notified by e-mail if you have won. If you have opted out of this service, or would like to see the numbers drawn more quickly, then go to http://www.nationallottery.co.uk/results. This page displays the latest results for:
- Lotto
- Plus 5
- EuroMillions
- Millionaire Raffle Results
- Thunderball
If you have entered the EuroMillions draw, be sure to check the raffle results, as you are given a set of raffle numbers on your ticket, entering you into a competition to win £1m.
If you need to check older results, click the link for ‘Previous draw results’ under the latest results for the draw which you have entered. If you are a winner, click the ‘Prize breakdown’ link to see exactly how much you have won.
