To access Lloyds online banking Logon, clients will need to register their account at www.lloydsbank.com instead of the TSB or LloydsTSB websites.
In 1765, Sampson Lloyd II, an iron producer and dealer, partnered with button-maker John Taylor to create a private banking business in Dale End, Birmingham. In the 248 years since, Lloyds has grown to become one of the premier banking establishments in the world. Lloyds took over The Savings Bank in 1995 but split as of September 9, 2013. This means that all but 631 Lloyds TSB branches are being rebranded as Lloyds and there will no longer be a Lloyds TSB website.
Lloyds Internet Banking services are at www.lloydsbank.com and allow customers to:
- Create a new account
- Check account information, such as balance and number of transactions
- Perform transactions such as bill payments and transfers
- Reach customer service for any problems
- Find the contact number and location of the nearest branch
- And more!
Banking on the Go!
Lloyds also offers a full-featured Mobile Banking app for smartphones, available through the App Store (iOS4.3+), Google Play (Android 2.2+), Blackberry World (Blackberry 5.0+), and the Windows Phone Store (Windows 7.5+). To logon, just use your regular Internet Banking user ID and password. It uses the same personal login information instead of putting you through the inconvenience of having to register for and maintain a separate user ID and password.
Offshore Banking with Lloyds
UK residents, UK ex-pats, and non-British foreign nationals who meet Lloyds’ criteria can take advantage of Lloyds’ offshore banking. The complete guide to registering for an International Banking account can be found. Be aware that registration requires that you contact the Lloyds Offshore PhoneBank centre at +44 (0) 1539 736626, as you will need to be PhoneBank registered to finalize your registration.
